​UCJ’s Election: Arowosafe Emerges as President, Elegbede as Gen. Sec.

Samuel Arowosafe, a 300 level student of the Department of Communication and Language Arts (CLA), Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan, has emerged as the president of the Union of Campus Journalists (UCJ), University of Ibadan chapter.

He was elected unopposed in the election held by the union on 29th October, 2016 at the Students Representative Council (SRC) chamber.

Arowosafe who is also a member of AFAS Press organisation has acted in the capacity of the UCJ’s Public Relation Officer (PRO).

Meanwhile, Elegbede Austine has also emerged as the General Secretary of the Union. Elegbede is also a 300 level student of the Department of Communication and Language Arts (CLA).


He is a member of AFAS Press Organisation and has acted in the capacity of a Managing Editor for the organisation.
