UNIBADAN: FLC SPEAKER BERATES LOW PUBLICITY ON FRESHERS’ ORIENTATION

The Association of Faculty of Arts Students (AFAS) executives have presented her proposed budget for the AFAS freshers’ orientation programme to the Faculty Legislative Council (FLC) in a sitting which held recently.

The budget presented through the Vice-President; Romoke Oladejo was a sum of Three Hundred and Twenty-One Thousand, Six Hundred and Twenty-Five naira (#321, 625). 
During the session of the FLC, it was however reduced to Two Hundred and Thirty Thousand, Two Hundred and Ninety-Five Naira (#230,295) while some items provided for in the budget like Table Water, Disc Jockey (DJ), were not approved until the report of an ad-hoc investigative is brought before the house.

The date of the orientation programme which will come to an end in the evening with a film show as at the time of the FLC sitting on Thursday, 23rd March and AFAS PRESS publication has not been disclosed.
