EVERY SOCIETY IS DETERMINED BY THE KNOWLEDGE OF ITS PEOPLE- OyejideBY Deborah Joseph

The guest lecturer at the Students’ Research Network (STURN) maiden induction, Emeritus Professor Ademola Oyejide, has encouraged all to be involved in research.

He opined that no society grows in a vacuum, hence the need for its people to be research-oriented as that is a major criteria for unveiling the unknown, according to him, and “research is simply the discovery of knowledge”.

Speaking further, he advised the newly inducted STURN members to be interested in the society’s problem as this would aid technology and invention.
Forty-two students of both undergraduates and postgraduate levels were inducted as members of the Student’s Research Network, University of Ibadan.
