The Council of Presidents and Secretaries (CPS), Faculty of Arts, has screened Ojuolape Halleluyah Jude, a 400 level student of Communication and Language Arts for the post of AFAS Social Director.
This was contained in a letter forwarded to AFAS Press stating that Ojuolape had been found worthy for the post.
The letter reads as follow: “We use this medium to notify you that we have screened Ojuolape Halleluyah Jude of the Department of Communication and Language Arts for the post of Social Director of Association of Faculty of Arts Students, and have found him worthy for the post which was earlier declared vacant by the Legislative Council.”
We hereby recommend him for swearing in as soon as possible.”
The result of the screening as attached to the letter is as follow: Punctuality: 19.3%, Dressing: 18.7%, Composure: 17.2%, Confidence: 16%, Agenda: 12.7%; making a total of 83.9%.
However, when our correspondent called the CPS General Secretary, Balogun Maryam, she stated that the Sub-Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Adams Akewula insisted that a by-election be conducted. Therefore, the by-election for the post of Social Director will take place on the Thursday, 27th April, 2017
