Barcelona on Sunday night took it out on their title rivals, Real Madrid as they cruised to a 3-2 win at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. The match, which was a determinant of who could go away with the League title started at exactly 7:45pm on Sunday, 23rd of April, 2017.

It was Madrid who got the better half as they piled pressure on Barcelona. They, however, suffered a big blow as Gareth Bale got injured in the early stages of the first half. Casemiro’s first goal came as a consolation for Real Madrid. Five minutes later, the Argentine five-time Ballon d’Or holder, Lionel Messi levelled things up by scoring a wonder goal.

Messi was at it again as he put the Catalans ahead in the 93rd minute. With the win, Barcelona are level with Madrid on top with more goals and head-to-head favour but Real Madrid have a game in hand against Osasuna.
