Adebayo Badmus, the Director of Information and Publicity of the Association of Faculty of Arts’ Students (AFAS) had been impeached.

The impeached officer of AFAS who is popularly called Radical Bayo was impeached by the Rt. Hon. Clinton Chibueze led Faculty Legislative Council (FLC) of the Association at its sitting which took place on Wednesday, 24th May, 2017.

It should be recalled that Radical Bayo had been initially suspended for four weeks barely two months ago based on his resignation of his position on some social media platforms. Bayo was later called by the Council to tender an apology to all AFASites through the FLC and copy such a letter to all departmental associations in the Faculty as well as other relevant bodies within and outside the Faculty.

At the next sitting, it was discovered that there were a lot of mistakes in the letter he sent to the house. He was told to rectify and send a copy to necessary bodies within and outside the Faculty within 48 hours Thus, elongating his suspension period.

At the following sitting of the Council that would have reinstated him, it was discovered that Mr Bayo had not fulfilled the requirements. He was yet to give a copy of the letter to some organs and has failed to rectify the errors made in the earlier copy.

Therefore, the House impeached him. Hon. Peter Olagunju of the European Studies constituency’s motion that Radical Bayo be impeached had it.

so nice, error which he failed to correct led to impeachment…. misuse of power…
how much is d budget approved to him?
you expect him to use his personal money to type another letter and not injure AFAS money…
